Can it be an abstract thing? Because what I want most is true happiness for all of my friends and family.
Otherwise maybe like a new necklace, I seem to have misplaced my amber necklace that I got for the winter holidays last year.

That’s so wonderful to hear, I’m glad that you’re doing well.
/smiles warmly/
I’m doing well, it feels like I haven’t seen many people lately due to starting to get ready for winter, it’s really good to see a friendly face. I’m glad your staying.
/giggles and throws her arms around his neck, hugging him tightly/ Gosh it really has been like forever!
/loosens her grip on him after a bit and grins/ How have you been?
/thinking about something and frowning before gasping and nearly jumping out of her skin before turning around/
Kevin! I haven’t seen you in forever!
its-the-king-fisher replied to your post: Ray stood on the beach wringing out his shirt. He was soaked head to toe and had lost the tie to his ponytail on his way to the island. He did not know if anyone could see him.
“Um,” Ray looked at her, slinging his shirt over his shoulder and wringing the rest of the water out of his hair. “Do ya know a good fishin’ spot?”
“Mmhm.” She grinned looking around her at the ocean as she walked a little bit away from him to pick up another seashell. “All around you is a good spot, there’s a river that way a little bit where freshwater fish are good finds.”
Renee was walking along the beach looking for seashells when she noticed the man a way down looking like he was soaking wet. Confused, she walked over to him and smiled. “Hey, I’m Renee, do you need some help?”
Ew. That doesn’t sound good. I’ll make a note to avoid that
That’s great to hear! /grins/ So anything exciting planned?
Hey /calls out kind of hesitantly/ You’re, Will, right?
Hm? [he looks up and smiles] Ah, yes, that’s me. [he bows politely] and who might you be? [he gently holds her hand and winks]
/smiles/ I’m Renee, it’s nice to meet you, someone I know mentioned you in passing, and I figured I’d say hi while I was vacationing on the islands.
[He blinks and then grins, putting a hand over his chest] Why, I’m flattered and very pleased you did so. Thank you for that. [He nods his head once] Pleasure to meet you Renee. My, I have never seen such a cute haircut. Where do you come from? [He gently brushes his hand on her front tails]
/blushes a little and smiles again/ It’s a pleasure to meet you too, Will. I’m from Castanet, I run a ranch there. I’m…not all that interesting actually, I like to fish though. What about you?
I think it’s fun, I like being able to raise an animal from it’s birth, developing a bond with it, and making sure that it’s the very best. /nods/
Yep, we sell horses too, but we normally only sell our foals, not our adult horses.
Mmmm … [Nods to himself in agreement, sliding one hand into his pocket.] Yeah, same here. That’s what’s hard about this job sometimes— watching people adopt them after you’ve helped raise them from birth. But whatever. [Shrugs it off.] It’s just the way it is.
Oh, cool. I sell foals too … I’m pretty big on horses. [Turns to walk toward the door without even looking back at Renee, speaking over his shoulder to her.] Wanna see ‘em or what?
I agree, sometime it’s really heart wrenching to see someone buy an animal that you’ve fallen in love with, but you have to keep telling yourself that they’re going to a good home and they’ll be in good care.
/grins and skips a little to catch up and then walks behind him/ I’d love to see them!
Classical actually, more specifically just solo piano music.
I adore dancing!
Paolo! Hey kiddo, how are you doing?
Salmon…patties?
What?
/smiles warmly/ The warm weather has been really nice, I’m not looking forward to winter, but after winter is spring again.
/nods/ Yep, we are busy, but the end of summer isn’t as busy as springtime, all our babies have been sold or old enough to not require as much care or attention as they did before. We’ve got a bunch of chicks though that just hatched recently, but my mom has been taking care of them some days so that I get a day off occasionally.
[Nod nod.] Uh-huh, same here. And plus, the animals get all antsy and stuff when it’s cold out.
[Turns back to the horse, lifting up the brush and smoothly grazing it over the mare. Cocks a single brow.] Yep, that’s ranching life for ya, I guess. It’s like any other job— always something to take care of, but its real great to hear that people are taking in the newborns. [Looks over his shoulder at Renee, somewhat intrigued.]
Bet you sell horses too, huh?
I think it’s fun, I like being able to raise an animal from it’s birth, developing a bond with it, and making sure that it’s the very best. /nods/
Yep, we sell horses too, but we normally only sell our foals, not our adult horses.
“Oh OH oh! I know Kuruna! Isn’t she AWESOME with that horn of hers! Oh and Gaius! Hes super cool too!” Pia tilted her head to the side. “I’m guessing ranch is the same thing as a farm?? OH and I heard you guys have like some crazy animals that like all of them are nice and not mean like most of ours are.. You totally have to show me sometime!”
Renee laughed and grinned more. “Yeah, certainly the interesting one. Ranches aren’t actually farms, but similar. We don’t grow crops or food or anything, we only raise animals. And no, our animals aren’t crazy, at least I don’t think so. You can occasionally get mean animals, but it’s not common. You could come back with me if you want, it’s not a long way away actually, and I could show you the animals.”
Renee laughed for a little bit and grinned. “Sharance? I’m pretty sure I heard of somebody who lived there once. That’s really cool. I live in the Flute Fields area of the Castanet peninsula, right on the ocean. It’s busy, but a really nice place to live.”
”Oh really! That’s so cool! I wonder who it was?~” Pia beamed, rocking back and forth and the ball of her heels. “Woaaah! That sounds like a pretty cool place to be! I mean it’s even fun to say! What do you work as there?” Pia questioned, admiring the brunettes attire.
Renee put a hand to her cheek and looked down at the ground, thinking. “I think their name was Kuruna? I think I’ve also met somebody named Gaius before, and I’m not sure but I think that he was from Sharance too.” She smiled at the other girl again. “I’m a rancher, I run the ranch there with my family. It’s kind of fun sometimes, because there’s so many animals that it can never be lonely or boring.”
gentlerancher replied to your post:
Well, I just wanted to say hi, see how you’re doing. Need any help?
[Blinks at her blankly, surprised that someone dropped by simply just to visit. Shakes his head to himself, before sliding one hand into his pocket.] Welp, that’s a surprise.
Nah, I was just brushing her. [Gently pats his mare’s nose with his free hand.] Letting her enjoy this warm weather while it still lasts, you know? [Raises a brow at Renee.]
You said you work with animals. I bet you and your family are as busy as I am looking after all of ‘em.

Dear Merry,
Yes! Penpals, how interesting a program to have come across. Getting to know new people is one of the best things in the world! It’s a reason to live. This is provincial though, right? Or at least I’m pretty sure. So yeah, we might already know each other (wouldn’t that be funny!).
My favorite food would be pie and waffles and apples and pasta and italian food and japanese food and korean food and chinese food and… ummm… well there’s a list… food is just very very good.
Lessee, about myself? I am me! I have hair and eyes and boobs and feet. I use my feet a lot! A lot of exploring, you know? Climbing trees and such. I play instruments and play with my pets (I’m really excited for the battle of the bands thing coming up) and I talk to people a lot and I’m still unsure as to if that bothers people or not.
How about questions for you? What’s your favorite animal? Why? What do you think of sunsets and the colour yellow? Ever wish you had magical powers?
I loved your letter and hope to get one in return.
Yours,
Unlucky
Unlucky,
You remind me of someone I know, with everything you love to do. Food is indeed delicious and every kind of food has good points. I find that my favorite flavor is Cinnamon, so I’m more prone to liking apple cinnamon flavored things, and strawberries.
If you have boobs, I’m assuming that you’re a girl? At least, if you are, that’s a good thing. I am also female, and I enjoy relaxing after a long day of work.
My favorite animal? Probably chickens. They’re so adorable, but after that, I like bunnies and dogs a lot. Not as fond of cats, but I like all animals. I find sunsets to be relaxing and beautiful, and yellow is my second favorite color after green! I do wish that I had magical powers sometimes, like to be able to control time, or to read peoples minds. What kind of powers would you have if you were magical?
Hope to hear from you again soon,
Merry
Going to bed, cause I’m super sleepy. Got to finish replies to Claire on Ann, Pia on Renee, and write a starter for Cam on Ash. I’m waiting for a reply from Neil, lemme know if i missed something
